I think there is room for both old & young, new as well as primitive style of doing Seva.
Gurdwara Committee should have taken a lesson or two in Change Management before stopping Langar groups. It was a bad decision which shows inexperience of committee members.
Difference between India & abroad is that Langar groups are not funded by Gurdwara Committees but by rich patrons & Sangat.
Young generation must opt for crowd funding or approach next generation UK Royals for support.
