As part of a Religious Education topic, Sikhism, Room 12 & 14 were lucky enough to visit the Gurdwara Temple.
We were given a lovely tour around the Gurdwara in which we learned more about the Sikh religion and traditions.
We showed respect by removing our shoes, washing our hands before the tour and wearing a head scarf at all times. We were shown the prayer room where the Holy Script is worshipped, allowed to play traditional instruments and then treated to a meal in the Langar (Kitchen).
The Gurdwara is free to visit and all are welcome.
