Here is a humble attempt at translating a portion of Prof. Sahib Singh's preface of his Jaap Sahib steek. May Waheguru bless his children with knowledge of the faith and provide grace. I'd like to thank Laal Singh of the forum (SA) for looking over a draft and providing invaluable suggestions for improvements.
