Yes I did start this debate before. Let me give a brief overview.
I work part time and have a day or two free in the week.SoI decided to give my free time and work for a local charity shop in my area for 1 day a week.
But as soon as I started working their I realised there was hostility towards Asian people. The managers were constantly yelling at staff and often making offensive comments. ie 'do you not speak english' at foreign born asian staff in a derogotary way.
When I walked in the room this particular racist manager. remarked 'whats that funny smell?'
That was the last straw and I handed in my resignation. I could have at that point had a go at these people and told them to learn some manners and be greatful for the hardworking staff who are working for free.
But I just made up some excuse that I did not have the time anymore to work there. I then walked off in a non aggresive way. only to be told by the racist manager that I was not someone they were looking for. I havent got time to go into details. but Im fuming at the moment.

She's a typical loud mouthed racist person. I took alot of abuse from this vile human being who is not good enough to be called a woman and I thought I will just walk away from the job peacefully without saying anything and then she was the one who had the last dig at me as I was leaving. I feel like going back there and giving her my 2 cents. for all the abuse she has given me and alot of the other staff members.
I am not the kind of person who looks for confrontation. Infact I try and avoid it. She took me by suprise as I was talking to another manager. She butted in with her comments about my stay there. The cheek of the person. I could report her for her behaviour.

Really running from it and then complaining here isn't going to save you. What part of the World are you in? I assume Uk? If so there's a lot of help against these things. Had my own issue with it and I went at them with everything I could. They eventually gave way and did as I wanted to avoid a law suit.
Im only 20 so I can't really speak for your circumstances but get people involved. Running away makes you a coward, you talk big on this forum bro. Bring that bravado into your real life.

Unfortunately this is a mentality that we have in the Panth of people who would much rather help non-Sikhs than Sikhs. Khalsa Aid has always been about publicity and there was no publicity to be gained in helping Sikhs. It would go to places like Kosovo where the western nations had donated tens of millions of pounds in aid and it basically replicated the work of larger charities. The same is the case in Haiti, Nepal etc. It's just there for publicity as there are other charities that do exactly the same work as KA. It is only in the last few years that they have been helping in Punjab but initially it was always about helping non-Sikhs at the expense of Sikhs. The project in Punjab are probably the outcome no doubt of Sikhs questioning the charity on why is was not helping Sikhs and only helping non-Sikhs. According to the charity's accounts it has over £2.4 million in the bank no doubt the vast amount donated by Sikhs.That's a hefty amount and one if used correctly could help tens of thousands of Sikhs in Punjab but KA probably thinks that would be waste and the money would be best spent on non-Sikhs.
The biggest irony that you have outlined is that no non-Sikh charity has ever thought to help Sikhs anywhere in the world. But we have a Sikh charity that goes out of it's way to go to Burma to help Muslims when the Muslims have over 50 odd countries which should be helping them. All Khalsa Aid is doing is ensuring that the rich Arab countries do not need to stump up cash for their fellow Muslims in Burma because KA has the bright idea of spending the Panth's money there!
Personally I would say that we need to help charities like Sikh Relief who have now not only just help Sikh prisoners and their families who have been forgotten by the Panth but also dastar camps and other parchar activities in Punjab.

For free publicity, my suggestions would be:
Help someone in need. Volunteer in local community hospitals. Give them ride needed.
Whenever someone needs help on the road, I occasionally stop and ask if they need help.
Having a good manners and do extra to help someone without the involvement of money is the free publicity that we need.
Not boosting nor on ego trip but a good portion of my income goes to help Sikhs only. As I strongly believe that's where our top priorities should be - helping ours before we help others.
Not blaming any organization who are doing their own work but sometime they also need a third eye - an outsiders viewpoint on what they been doing.

Several meetings and only request from singhs was to have a meeting with him at any of their location. They said NO.
He got denied Visa by US Embassy. Gurdwara where he is visiting went to congressman and put full effort to re-issue him the visa. He got the visa. He was kept for many hours at the airport and was left on a condition that if his trip caused any hiccups, his visa will be revoked. Same gurdwara sponsored his permanent residency in US and that application was also taken back. He cannot go to Canada, UK and now probably US.
From a hazoori ragi who is very well known and respected told me in good faith as we know each other well. T-Series owner once said that ranjit singh came for an contract renewal and put some weird demands; including a place to stay in delhi, a land cruiser and royalty from sales. After rejection, ranjit opened his own recording company.

And you don't need to worry about Rohangya settling in Punjab.First of all it is highly unlikely that in the presence of fascist Modi any rohnagya would be allowed to enter into India and even if they manage to enter india and come all the way to Jammu they can always migrate to Pakistan if things get messy.there are thousands of rohangya living in Karachi so it would not be a problem for them to migrate to Pakistan plus there exist huge support in favor of rohnagya muslims.Just last week there thousands of protesters in Islambad against Burmese govt.These protesters even tried to enter into diplomatic area in hope of breaching burma embassy.

And in case you have not realized rohangya's only fault was that they aligned with British when japanese attacked Burma in WW2 and rohangya fought against Burmese nationalists,and japnese. Since then Rohangya have been on the radar of Burmese leadership.
